Our belief that applying a business approach can deliver value was highlighted in the Angel’s Den 2024. A charity event run by The Clare Foundation, Angel’s Den (think Dragon’s Den for charities) saw 5 Angel’s share out £100k to 10 short-listed charities from the many applications received. The five Angels – George Anson, Sarah Leslie, Mike Clare, Matt Storey and Peter Jones – had a tough task allocating the funds, with 10 very strong proposals covered in just 2 minutes each! Every charity received some financial support for their project, as well as ongoing support and training, a great outcome for all involved.
A fantastic evening of community, support and collaboration with The Theatre Shed taking home the biggest amount of the night (£20,000), followed by Youth Concern (£18,000) and Brighter Futures Together (£15,000). Congratulations to all the charities who took part and we are already looking forward to Angel’s Den 2025 (10 September 2025)!
