Modernising the management of pensions

After two years of growth, delivering positive change for our clients, we review our approach and what the future holds.

In 2020, we delivered on our vision to create a purpose driven, pensions management business. Two years later, we are celebrating our second birthday with a wonderful group of clients who share our desire to do more.  So, as we reach this milestone, we focus on the positive changes we have achieved so far, and, in conjunction with releasing our newly re-branded website, those we have to come over the following months and years.

Developing a diverse team of experts

A key aspect of the last two years has been to build a diverse and inclusive team of experts.

Our partners, a combination of professional trustees and non-executive directors, have decades of business and commercial experience coupled with a passion for delivering meaningful change.

Across the team we have a mix of gender, cultural and professional backgrounds as well as cognitive diversity. This extends to senior team members and at board level, where we have 50% female representation.  An age range of 20s to 60s supports different perspectives, experiences and insight, ensuring clients receive a business-driven approach to pension scheme management.

Driving change for our clients

Our willingness to challenge the status quo is why many clients choose to partner with us. We bring a fresh perspective to how schemes are managed, and how trustee boards can be more effective.

The clients we work with vary in size (under £10m to over £1billion) and service type (trustee on a board, chair of a sub-committee, sole trustee, board advisor, non-executive), but all have one thing in common.  They want to do the best they can for their members, and work with us to apply business acumen, pragmatism and commercial rigor to the management of their schemes.

We are delighted they have put their trust in us and chosen to work with us to drive their schemes forward to a positive future.

The ndapt way

ndapt is a truly independent firm acting on behalf of our clients, providing no ancillary services and having no external shareholders. Our approach is a breath of fresh air to those seeking quality professional trustee services, and future-fit decision-making sits at the heart of the services we provide.

We are committed to modernising the management of pensions, through creating change that matters and achieving better outcomes – for our clients and more widely across the industry.

Looking forwards

At our recent Partner assembly, we explored how we can continue to deliver the best outcomes for our clients in challenging times, and work with them to create a more robust and sustainable future.  With thought provoking discussions from LCP on the recent market challenges and opportunities, and Lazard Asset Management on engineering a truly (non-tick-box) sustainable portfolio, we took clear action away to enhance the way we deliver for our clients.

Over the coming months, we will continue to focus on being a responsible business, driving value and values forwards for our clients.  We look forward to sharing these initiatives with our clients, and the wider pensions world, to help secure a better future for all.
